Connaught Hospital published a report confirming the incident. Ministry of Health and Sanitation also confirmed it on its official Twitter Page.

According to the report published by Connaught Hospital, a total of 80 people were initially brought to the hospital and treated as a result of the cookery food they ate. Later, the Hospital received additional 24 people from the Community, raising the figure 104. Of the total patients, 26 are children.

No death has been reported so far, but two of the patients are in critical condition, admitted in the Intensive Care Unit of the Hospital.

According to the Hospital, 63 of the total number of patients admitted yesterday are female while 41 are male.
