SLAJ-iVerify has fact-checked the claim that Hon. Chernor Maju Bah, popularly known as Chericoco, made a cash transfer of $20,000 to social media commentator Abdul Will Kamara (Adebayor) and found it to be false.

To arrive at this conclusion, the iVerify Network of Fact-Checking Desks has conducted the following process:
SLAJ-iVerify contacted Chericoco.
Chericoco has denied the claim and also added that his relationship with Dr. Samura Kamara, the presidential candidate of the All Peoples Congress party, remains “good.”
The National Secretary of the APC, Lansana Dumbuya, Esq., also corroborated Chericoco’s denial of the claims, stating that the claims are “not true”.
Upon close examination of the circulating article, it is evident that the writer failed to provide any concrete evidence or documentation to support the claim of a cash transfer.
Given the absence of credible evidence, Chericoco’s denial of the allegation, and the APC’s National Secretary General’s corroboration that the claim is “not true,” SLAJ iVerify concludes that the claim of a $20,000 cash transfer from Chericoco to Adebayor is so far unsubstantiated and should be regarded as false.
